Job Description Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer Location: Basildon Contract: 10 Months (Extension possibility) Day Rate: £325 (Inside ir35) The Opportunity Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in transitioning new products from design into production, improving manufacturing processes, resolving production issues, and driving continuous improvement across operations. Key Responsibilities Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrialisation activities. Develop, improve and validate manufacturing processes and methods. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, routings, production plans and work instructions. Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 8D and FMEA. Support Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and lifecycle management activities. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and external suppliers. Requirements Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Process Engineer or NPI Engineer. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments. Experience supporting products through the product lifecycle and into production. Knowledge of manufacturing documentation, process validation and quality controls. Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment. Desirable Defence, Aerospace, Electronics or High-Reliability Manufacturing experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
