Job DescriptionMaintenance Supervisor FM Service Provider Essex Up to £55,000CBW is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to work within a large commercial environment based in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer with previous supervisory experience to take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of engineering services across a busy site. The successful candidate will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, compliance, specialist contractors and site engineering activities while acting as a key point of contact for the client. The role requires someone who is technically hands-on, confident managing engineering operations and able to maintain high standards of service delivery, safety and building performance. What You'll Be Doing Taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance across the site. Supervising and supporting the engineering team, ensuring works are completed safely and to the required standard. Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and corrective works through the site's CAFM system. Monitoring plant and building services performance, identifying faults and ensuring remedial works are progressed. Managing compliance documentation, site logbooks, audits and statutory maintenance requirements. Managing and coordinating specialist subcontractors, including reviewing completed works and ensuring recommendations are actioned. Supporting the operation and maintenance of electrical distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, cooling, BMS and control systems. Managing permits to work and ensuring safe systems of work and Health
