WasteStrategies/ComplianceStrategies LLC is currently seeking an on-site Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to support our growing business in the industrial and higher education markets located primarily in the PA region. This position is full-time but could be filled on a part-time basis. This position is responsible for providing EHS field support to new and existing customers, guiding compliance with client goals and regulatory requirements. A degree in Environmental Health, Safety, a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. This flexible position offers room for growth to qualified individuals.

DUTIES

  • Audits and inspections
  • Written program reviews, development and deployment
  • Develop and deploy Job Hazard Analysis (JHA/JSA)
  • Develop and implement written compliance programs for OSHA Standards
  • Develop and present program-specific EHS training
  • Participate in safety committee and team meetings
  • Incident and accident investigation support
  • Environmental program support (Air, Water, Waste)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-Year Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Fire Safety, or related field
  • CIH/CSP
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations are required
  • Experience with laboratory safety is desirable
  • Willing to travel throughout eastern and northeastern PA
  • Must have valid DL and own transportation

EXPERIENCE

The candidate should possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in occupational or industrial safety.

TRAVEL

The position requires travel to customer sites and may require some overnight travel.

SALARY

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
