Opportunity
We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Team Leader to guide our team to success in a dynamic onsite position. The role is permanent and offers a great opportunity to showcase technical expertise while mentoring a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, and keeping our production plant moving forward smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the shift, organize the maintenance team, and align daily tasks with production activities
- Monitor electrical systems, equipment, and stores, and respond promptly to site breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Conduct risk assessments, health and safety tours, produce RAMS/SSOW, and perform Regulation 12 inspections to uphold a safety‑first culture
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, support and develop apprentices, and foster an inclusive and highly motivated team environment
- Induct and manage onsite contractors to ensure all outsourced tasks are executed competently and safely
- Maintain robust operational records, complete administrative duties via Key 2, and utilize Internal Management Systems (IMS)
Qualifications
- Solid experience as an industrial electrician with practical understanding of crushing and processing operations
- Strong working knowledge of the Quarry Regulations 1999, statutory health and safety guidelines, and relevant employment legislation
- Organised and proactive planning skills, with the ability to motivate, coordinate, and support a diverse team
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling strong working relationships across departments and with site management
- Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and pragmatic problem‑solving mindset capable of prioritising work effectively under pressure
- Strong business and report‑writing skills, solid IT literacy, and a proven track record of working successfully within a high‑functioning team
