A leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join their growing projects division, delivering high-profile commercial fit‑out schemes across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established contractor known for delivering technically challenging CAT A & CAT B commercial fit‑outs for blue‑chip clients, developers, and major main contractors. Projects typically range from £5m - £25m M&E value and include prestigious office refurbishments, headquarters, and fast‑track commercial developments.

As Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the electrical delivery of large‑scale commercial fit‑out projects from pre‑construction through to handover. You will lead project teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams while overseeing all aspects of electrical installation, commissioning, programme management, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing large‑scale commercial fit‑out projects from inception to completion
  • Leading electrical project teams including PMs, Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors
  • Coordinating with design, commercial, and operational departments
  • Managing project programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved
  • Attending client and site meetings as the lead electrical representative
  • Overseeing commissioning, QA, and project handover processes
  • Ensuring all health & safety procedures are maintained to Tier 1 standards
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout delivery
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Project Manager within the M&E sector
  • Strong background delivering commercial fit‑out projects
  • Experience managing projects with significant M&E values
  • Excellent client‑facing and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders within fast‑paced environments
  • Strong understanding of programme and commercial management
  • Relevant electrical qualifications and industry certifications
