Overview

Position: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing electrical and control systems across a variety of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and control systems using EPlan Electric and EPlan Pro Panel
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including:
• • Thermal calculations
  • Safety evaluation reports
  • Machine/plant layouts
  • Bus network overviews
  • Electrical arrangement and cut-out drawings
  • Multi-line and single-line diagrams
  • PLC and terminal strip overviews
  • Terminal and cable diagrams
  • Parts lists, window macros, and plot frames

Qualifications & Experience

• HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical design
• Proficient in EPlan Electric and EPlan Pro Panel
• Strong understanding of electrical and control components
• Familiarity with HSE, ISO, and other relevant safety and quality standards
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Full UK driving licence
• Must have the right to work in the UK
