More About Your Role
You will primarily carry out electrical work in domestic properties, with occasional tasks in commercial buildings. Responsibilities include:
- Upgrades and repairs to consumer units, rewiring, fault finding, and emergency lighting.
- Performing periodic inspections, testing, and completing necessary certifications in accordance with IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Conducting PAT testing for electrical equipment (if qualified).
- Ensuring all work meets the high standards of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, BS 7671, and related guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
- Collaborating with schedulers, supervisors, and compliance teams and communicating with customers to meet operational targets and KPIs.
- Completing timely and accurate paperwork and data transfer.
- Undergoing a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
Although advertising in a specific location, you will be required to work in surrounding areas.
