Are you a Flood Risk Consultant with experience in flood risk and modelling? Do you like working in the Central Belt of Scotland? This exciting role offers the chance to join a market leading environmental consultancy that specialises in flood risk, hydrology and hydraulic modelling.

Responsibilities:

  • Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
  • Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments, nutrient neutrality assessments and drainage strategies.
  • Hydrological assessments.
  • Water Framework Directive assessments.
  • Natural flood management, wetland management and rewilding projects.
  • Flood risk mapping and estimation using ArcGIS.
  • Frequent liaison with private sector clients and local authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background in Geography, Environmental Management or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience working for a UK-based consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments, hydrological assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
  • Based in Edinburgh and required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.
