Overview
Position: Ecologist (Consultant) – Derby. Salary: £32,000 – £41,000. Pebble Recruitment represents an established environmental consultancy seeking an ambitious Ecologist to join their Derby team. The role involves working with the ecology team, assisting with protected species surveys, and contributing to a variety of projects. Responsibilities
- Undertaking protected species surveys
- Helping to build tenders and create quotations
- Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.)
- Managing small- to medium-sized projects and some large projects with assistance as needed
Qualifications
- 3–8+ years of industry experience
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
- 1 protected species license
- Hold a full UK driving license
- Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and how to apply it
- Membership or eligibility for membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) is preferred
Remuneration and Benefits
