Connect Appointments is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in East Kilbride. Our client is a long-established business supplying specialist machinery and manufacturing solutions to the food production sector across the UK and Ireland, offering a varied role combining site-based maintenance with field-based engineering support at customer locations.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out routine, preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
  • Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting and implementing effective repair solutions
  • Conducting servicing, maintenance and installation of specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK, with occasional travel to Ireland
  • Providing demonstrations and basic training to customers on equipment use
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and working closely with production teams to minimise downtime

To be considered as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need:

  • A strong mechanical engineering background with experience in a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
