A well-established main contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects across specialist sectors including Healthcare, Life Sciences, Commercial Offices, Defense and Waste. They are seeking a Mechanical Site Manager to support the delivery of major projects across Central London. Initial assignments will be based around Liverpool Street and King’s Cross, with the opportunity to move onto further London projects as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day site management across mechanical or electrical packages
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and project milestones
- Coordinating subcontractors and managing site logistics in busy Central London environments
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and driving a strong safety culture
- Ensuring quality standards are met and supporting snagging / commissioning activities
- Liaising with the wider project team, including PMs, engineers, design teams and client stakeholders
- Managing permits, RAMS, site reporting and progress updates
- Supporting handover processes and ensuring project completion standards are achieved
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on MEP-led or technically complex construction projects
- A mechanical or electrical background (either trade, engineering, or delivery-focused route)
- Experience working on projects in Central London (highly beneficial)
- Strong subcontractor management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams
- A proactive, solutions-led approach and strong communication skills
