In this role, the successful Graduate CAD Technician will be responsible for:
- The design and development of technical drawings, as well as making adjustments to pre-existing drawings, ensuring they adhere to both company standards and customer requirements.
- Engineer, Customer and Client liaison, making certain design requirements are understood, offering technical advice/support as and when required.
- Assuring compliance with project timelines, submitting all drawings in line with project deadlines, working both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Attending site visits where necessary.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background within Construction/Civils/Groundwork/Geo-Environmental/Structural Engineering sector or a related field.
- Prior practical experience working with a variety of CAD packages, with specific proficiency in AutoCAD, and ideally, but not essentially, REVIT.
- Previous knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong organisational and communicational skills, with the confidence to liaise with a range of Third Parties.
- A full, valid UK driver's license.
The salary advertised is a guideline for this position. The offered remuneration will be dependent on the extent of your experience, qualifications, and skill set.
