Job Description

Currie & Brown is seeking an Document Controller to work on infrastructure commissions for our clients across Manchester

Required Services / Deliverables

  1. Monitor activity / inputs to the system to ensure that the programme and project teams comply with document control processes and procedures, providing support and corrective action where required.
  2. Control information flows with external suppliers in accordance with document control requirements
  3. Execute and maintain document control processes and storage for all types of media.
  4. Process documents in and out in a timely manner (in accordance with local service agreement)

General

  1. To provide a document control service, maintaining effective control of all programme/project documentation, consistent with standards and processes
  2. To administer project information systems

Essential

  1. Relevant successful experience in the management of information and documentation in an engineering project environment.
  2. Knowledge of engineering data management systems.
  3. Knowledge of project management processes.
  4. Good time management and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work well within a team.

Desirable

Successful relevant experience in engineering design management, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi discipline areas.

  • Experience in assurance processes.
  • Experience in CDM Regulations Knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise, SharePoint and Microsoft Power products such as PowerBI, Power Automate, PowerApps etc.
  • Knowledge of the Railway Industry.
