We’re partnering with a leading global fashion brand to find an experienced Customer Operations Project Manager to join on an immediate-start temporary contract. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role focused on delivering best‑in‑class customer marketing and CRM campaigns at scale. Working at the heart of the marketing function, you’ll drive operational excellence across email, lifecycle and 1:many campaigns—ensuring seamless execution, strong collaboration, and consistently high‑quality customer experiences.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the day‑to‑day delivery of CRM and customer marketing activity, acting as the operational link between marketing, creative and external production partners. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in detail, brings structure to complexity, and keeps multiple workstreams moving efficiently. A key focus will be supporting the transition to external production partners—establishing new workflows, ensuring continuity, and enabling scalable, high‑quality output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Delivery & Workflow Management
    • Oversee the end‑to‑end execution of CRM and customer marketing campaigns across email and lifecycle journeys
    • Ensure clarity on briefs, timelines, roles and deliverables across all stakeholders
    • Manage internal and external resources across multiple concurrent projects
    • Track progress, identify risks early, and drive timely resolutions
  • External Agency & Vendor Management
    • Lead onboarding and integration of external production partners
    • Establish effective workflows across copy, design and merchandising functions
    • Act as the main point of contact for agencies, ensuring quality, efficiency and delivery standards
    • Troubleshoot issues and elevate risks where needed
  • Project & Content Coordination
    • Collaborate with Martech, Digital and Tech teams to align dependencies and ensure platform readiness
    • Support briefing processes and ensure content is delivered on time and to spec
    • Partner with creative teams to track and manage content through production
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as the central operational point between Customer Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, CRM and regional teams
    • Maintain alignment and transparency across all contributors
    • Foster a collaborative, solutions‑focused working environment
  • Process Improvement & Ways of Working
    • Identify and implement improvements to workflows, tools and communication processes
    • Create clear documentation and repeatable frameworks for campaign delivery
    • Support team capability through guidance and best‑practice sharing
    • Promote a structured, calm and efficient delivery culture

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in project management within CRM, email or digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of content production workflows and cross‑channel campaign delivery
  • Track record of managing multiple deadlines and complex workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity
  • Highly organised with strong problem‑solving capabilities and a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving environments
  • Experience with tools such as Asana is advantageous
