We are a 12-year-old cafe/deli that takes great pride in serving delicious, healthy food to our loyal community. We are in search of a dynamic culinary professional with stellar cooking skills and an operations mindset.
Responsibilities
- Wear multiple hats including prep and line cooking, recipe development, front counter support, purchasing and receiving, and general operations support.
- Receiving/ordering product including organizing deliveries.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Daily food prep/creating specials.
- Monitoring social media accounts.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment.
- Strong knife skills.
- Food safety and proper food handling skills.
Additional Benefits
- Experience with social media management and content creation.
- Knowledge of a POS system (Square preferably or something similar), or the ability to quickly learn.
- Computer literate – basic skills required.
