Your new role
You will join the business as a Site Manager, responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of construction projects across multiple sites within the region.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities including labour, plant, subcontractors, staff and equipment
- Drive the construction programme proactively, identifying risks, opportunities and implementing corrective actions
- Lead, motivate and develop site teams, monitoring performance and fostering a positive working environment
- Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain programme, quality and safety standards
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, reports and site documentation
- Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders as required
- Support the Project Manager, taking direction and stepping up to lead site operations when necessary
- Coordinate procurement and material delivery with the buying and Surveying teams
- Take full accountability for site performance, health & safety, quality and programme delivery
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and internal safety standards
- Deliver daily coordination meetings with the supply chain on site
- Manage Temporary Works in line with design requirements and safety compliance
- Lead quality inspections and ensure standards are achieved and maintained across all site activities
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience working as a Site Manager for a main contractor
- Strong background in design and build projects
- Demonstrable experience managing health & safety, quality and site performance
- Experience managing Temporary Works
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card (Black or Gold)
