The Role

As Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering complex building projects from inception through to completion. You’ll support the project delivery team, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out and surveying for major construction works
  • Managing and mentoring Site Engineers and junior staff
  • Reviewing technical drawings and resolving engineering challenges
  • Ensuring quality control and compliance with specifications
  • Liaising with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Managing as‑built records and technical documentation
  • Supporting project planning and sequencing
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer or Site Engineer on major building projects
  • Experience working on projects up to £100m
  • Background in high‑rise residential, education, or commercial construction
  • Strong setting out and surveying skills
  • Proficient with modern surveying equipment and software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or similar
