Our client is seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Project Lead to oversee the continuation of its Odoo ERP implementation within their factory operations in Corby. This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and technical understanding to ensure the successful deployment, adoption, and optimisation of the ERP platform.

You will act as the central point of coordination between operational teams, IT, external vendors, and senior leadership, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives. This is a key role that will directly support operational efficiency and digital transformation across the factory environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ongoing ERP implementation project, ensuring successful delivery across all phases
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resources effectively
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT
  • Act as the primary liaison between the business, ERP vendors, and implementation partners
  • Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into practical system solutions
  • Oversee system configuration, testing (including UAT), data migration, and integration activities
  • Drive change management initiatives to support successful user adoption
  • Develop and deliver training plans and user support materials
  • Provide regular project updates, reporting, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency through ERP capabilities
Key Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience leading ERP implementation projects within a manufacturing or factory environment
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with production planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, delivery-focused mindset
  • Familiarity with system integration, testing methodologies, and data migration processes
  • Experience driving change management within operational environments
  • Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile methodologies (desirable)
