We are seeking an experienced ConstructionLogisticsManager to oversee the full logistics package on a major construction project in Bristol. This role requires someone who has runalogisticspackageend‑to‑end,notjustsupervisedsmallteams.Youwillcoordinatedeliveries,managetrafficoperations,andensuresmoothlogisticalflowacrossabusysite. Thisisanurgent requirementduetoamanagerleavingtheproject,sothesuccessfulcandidatemustbeabletostartimmediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Managethefullsitelogisticspackage on aliveconstructionproject.
- Operateandoverseethedeliverymanagementsystem(trainingprovided;systemissimpleandsimilartoindustry-standardplatforms).
- Coordinatedailyandweeklysitelogisticsmeetings.
- Manageanddirecttrafficmarshals,deliveryteams,andon‑sitelogisticsoperatives.
- Ensuresafeandefficientmovementofvehicles,materials,andequipment.
- LiaisewiththeContractsManagerandwidersiteteamtomaintainprogrammealignment.
- Overseedeliveryscheduling,bookingsystems,andgatehouseoperations.
- Maintaincompliancewithsitesafetyproceduresandlogisticsprotocols.
- Supportinductionandhandoverprocessesforlogisticspersonnel.
Requirements
- Provenexperiencerunningalogisticspackageonaconstructionproject.
- Strongunderstandingofdeliverymanagementsystemsandsitelogisticscoordination.
- Experiencemanagingtrafficmarshalsanddeliveryteams.
- ValidSSSTSorSMSTScertification.
- Strongcommunicationandorganisationalskills.
- Abilitytostartimmediately
