Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing GTAW (TIG)
- Strong GTAW (TIG) welding skills and a knowledge of how all the equipment operates
- Able to read and understand cut sheets and engineering prints thoroughly
- Knowledge of basic metallurgy and weld symbols
- Able to speak and understand English, with a focus on following directions, adhering to basic shop safety procedures, and meeting production standards
- Knowledge of basic sheet metal layout
- Math skills include basic arithmetic and geometry
- Can accurately read a tape measure to 1/16"
- Frequent standing, bending, sitting, and use of hands is required
- Specific vision abilities required to include close vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Occasionally perform physical activities including lifting (up to 50 lbs. unassisted)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
