Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support the delivery of civil engineering design across a range of clean and waste water infrastructure projects throughout the UK. This role involves producing, checking and reviewing civil engineering designs for both infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes within regulated water environments. You will work as part of a focused and collaborative design team delivering essential improvements to water and wastewater assets. Projects are varied and technically engaging, offering exposure to multiple aspects of water infrastructure design across the UK.

Key Responsibilities- Produce, check and review civil engineering designs across clean and waste water projects
- Deliver infrastructure and non-infrastructure civil engineering designs
- Support the delivery of upgrades at sewage treatment works
- Design clean water main replacement schemes
- Contribute to CSO upgrades and storm storage schemes
- Deliver designs aligned to regulatory requirements within the UK water sector
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Ensure designs meet technical standards and project requirements
- Experience producing civil engineering designs within the UK water sector
- Previous work on projects for regulated water companies
- Strong technical understanding of clean and waste water infrastructure
- Ability to review and check technical design outputs
- Experience working on sewage treatment works and water infrastructure schemes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
