About Us: Facilities by ADF plc provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. The group includes Location One (Integrated end to end shoot support) and Autotrak Portable Roadways (temporary access equipment hire) and the role would be working across all three companies to ensure an aligned approach.
Due to rapid growth, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Electrician to join our workshop team, to undertake In-House Electrical Training, leading to formal Electrical Engineering qualifications for the right person.
The duties will include but are not restricted to:
- Assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Support electrical works within commercial buildings, workshops, depots, and transport facilities.
- Learn to diagnose and resolve electrical faults safely and efficiently.
- Assist with testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.
- Travel to customer sites as and when required.
Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence.
- A genuine interest in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Good practical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
