Description
- Manage daily logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient processes.
- Monitor and improve operational performance and productivity.
- Oversee inventory control and stock management systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the logistics environment.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends and implement improvements.
- Lead and motivate the logistics team to achieve targets and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
Profile
A successful Operations Manager should have:
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management within the retail industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in operational systems and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a logistics setting.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commutable daily to Chepstow
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Day shift schedule in a logistics environment.
- Permanent position based in Chepstow.
