Job Description
Senior Fire Service Engineer - Braintree – covering (London & Surrounding) £45,000 + overtime + company van & fuel card.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and fault-find on a wide range of fire alarm systems.
- Carry out system takeovers, commissioning support and customer training.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately using company systems.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
- Recommend system improvements and identify quotation opportunities.
- Maintain company equipment and vehicle to a high standard.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures.
- Senior Engineer Duties
- Provide technical support and mentoring to engineers.
- Assist with fault finding and engineer training.
- Support engineer and subcontractor audits.
- Work on complex Cause & Effect programming and Gent addressable systems.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience working on fire alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of current fire regulations.
- Experience with Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, SMS and similar systems.
- Ability to work on complex Cause & Effect and Gent addressable systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Desirable Requirements
- CSCS/ECS, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness and First Aid.
