A leading global engineering company is looking to recruit a Production Engineer - Electronics to support manufacturing operations across high-profile Aerospace, Defence, Space, Medical and Industrial projects. This role would suit an experienced Production Engineer, Electronics Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in electronics manufacturing and component-level fault finding. Due to the nature of the business candidates must be British.

Duties
- Carry out component-level fault finding and diagnostics
- Support manufacturing and supply teams with technical issues and corrective actions
- Investigate and resolve recurring production faults
- Create and update SOPs, manufacturing documentation and standard times
- Support balanced production lines and process improvements
- Complete FMEA, control plans and risk assessments
- Ensure designs meet DFM/DFA requirements
- Support NPI activities and engineering change processes
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Electronics, Manufacturing or Engineering
- Experience within electronics manufacturing and test engineering
- Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical assembly and manufacturing processes
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 8D or A3 methodologies
- Familiar with ERP/SAP systems and manufacturing documentation
- Knowledge of RF testing, high voltage electronics or encapsulation beneficial
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be British passport holders
