Our welcoming Client has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a fresh challenge in a fast‑paced environment with excellent benefits detailed at interview stage.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll work closely with our Client's Commercial Envoy Divisional Director to support procurement and commercial administration across allocated projects.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of key procurement processes, materials tracking, supplier coordination, budgeting assistance and cost monitoring.
  • Procure building materials, bracketry and metalwork – tender, chase quotes, analyse, negotiate, draft purchase orders.
  • Update procurement schedule (Excel), track releases and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain materials management schedule to track from order to confirmed arrival on site.
  • Address reactive procurement issues (missing materials, site requests) in coordination with the team.
  • Assist QS with pricing variations, monthly application and vesting processes.
  • Track on‑site installation records and support budgeting exercises.
Skills and Experience
  • High attention to detail; organizational diligence; good initiative.
  • Experience in the construction industry – structural, façades, cladding.
  • Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
  • Good financial and numeracy management skills.
  • High level of IT literacy.
  • Driver license and own transport required.
