Job Description
CE&I Senior Design Engineer – Silos MSSS SEP1&2 (Site Based)
Sellafield – Working 3 days minimum on the MSSS plant; When not on plant, to work 3 days minimum out of the Design Office; Warrington (1 day/month).
Full Time | 37 hours over 4.5 days.
SC Clearance Required.
We’re looking for a CE&I Senior Design Engineer to provide site‑based front‑line design support to commissioning teams on a key nuclear programme.
The Role
- Site‑based design support to commissioning teams
- Deliver, review and check CE&I designs and modifications
- Support engineering changes and ensure compliance with standards
- Ensure designs are fit for purpose (Implementation/testing carried out by other teams)
ESSENTIAL
- 5+ years’ experience as a CE&I Senior Design Engineer
- Strong multidisciplinary project background
- Site‑based commissioning support experience
- Knowledge of PES control systems, Process instrumentation
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to support junior engineers
DESIRABLE
- 7+ years’ experience, Sellafield or SL project experience
- Familiarity with Sellafield standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum HND
- Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
- TPB N1 UKTJ
