A progressive, award‑winning consultancy based in Cardiff is looking to add a Civil Technician to the team. The practice is growing steadily and seeks an ambitious technician to become part of their design team, delivering commercial and industrial projects across South Wales and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Preparing infrastructure and drainage designs using AutoCAD (Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/Flow desirable)
- Supporting the design and delivery of residential and renewable energy projects
- Assisting with Section Agreements (278/38/104) and technical drawings
- Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions
- Gaining exposure to projects you can see built locally day‑to‑day
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification (HNC/HND or similar)
- 5+ years’ experience within civil/infrastructure design
- Strong AutoCAD skills, with experience in residential design
- Knowledge of Section Agreements and drainage design software is desirable
- A proactive and detail‑driven technician keen to keep developing
