Our client is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join their energetic and forward-thinking team in Cardiff. This permanent position involves working on a variety of projects in the water sector, contributing to a multi‑billion‑pound pipeline of work required by the UK Water Authorities during AMP 8 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Delivering Civil Engineering designs for water sector projects
- Collaborating with a dynamic team to meet project goals
- Ensuring compliance with Water Authority statutory approval processes
- Contributing to Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDS) projects
- Managing multiple projects to ensure timely and effective delivery
- Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders
- Participating in initiatives for professional and technical development
Requirements
- Experience in the Water Industry
- Civil Engineering degree
- Progression towards or willingness to achieve Professional Qualification with ICE or CIWEM
- Proficiency in 3D design and modelling using software such as MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage
- Ability to manage concurrent projects effectively
- Strong initiative and methodical approach to work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
