TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative to join a busy commercial maintenance project, on a long term project. The work includes assisting maintenance engineers across a couple of MOD sites in Cambridgeshire. This is a temp-to-perm position, with a permanent position on offer after 12 weeks. This position is suitable for someone looking for stability and long term career prospects.
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: £13.56 per hour PAYE
Hours: 8AM - 4PM, 40 hours per week
Contract length: 12 week contract, permanent after this
You will initially require a vehicle, where a mileage allowance will be paid. We do not expect more than 30-50 miles per day. Mileage paid 45p per mile after 30 miles. Upon completion of 12 weeks, you will receive a company vehicle and fuel card.
As a Maintenance Operative your duties will be but not limited to:
- General reactive maintenance on the site
- This may include changing light bulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats, hanging doors or fixing shelves, patch plaster, rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
- Assisting various maintenance engineers on site
