A leading international banking group is seeking a Business Architect to join their London-based Transformation and Change Management team. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a major financial institution, supporting its ambitious growth agenda across EMEA.

You will be at the heart of designing and implementing the Target State Business Architecture, collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. As a Business Architect based in London, you will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of transformation initiatives across EMEA.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve orchestrating the design of robust business architectures that underpin the organisation's growth ambitions. You will work collaboratively with technology experts, data specialists, compliance professionals, risk managers, and senior business leaders to create integrated solutions that enable effective decision-making.

By developing comprehensive roadmaps for implementation and maintaining alignment between project teams and strategic objectives, you will ensure that every aspect of change supports long-term success.

  • Design the Target State Business Architecture for all departments and legal entities within EMEA, including capability maps, operating models, value streams, and business service models.
  • Collaborate closely with Technology, Data Architects, Compliance, Risk SMEs, and business stakeholders to develop holistic target state designs that align with organisational strategy.
  • Develop detailed roadmaps for implementing the Target State Business Architecture, balancing competing priorities to maximise business outcomes while minimising cost, delivery time, and project risks.
  • Support project and programme teams by ensuring their solutions remain consistent with the agreed Target State Business Architecture and Roadmap throughout delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of both Current State and Target State Business Architectures to inform ongoing transformation activities.
  • Drive best practice in business design and process engineering across the organisation by sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues.
