Position: Maintenance Technician (full time, 40 hours per week) at Jubilee Heights care home, Irwell Street, Bury, BL9 0HE. Rate £13.77 per hour.

About Exemplar Health Care: Jubilee Heights is part of Exemplar Health Care, one of the country’s leading nursing care providers. The home supports adults living with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities.

About the role: The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring that the fabrics, fittings, fixtures and equipment in the home are in good condition. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include a mix of:

  • General maintenance
  • Decorating
  • Gardening
  • Plumbing
  • Tiling

Carrying out regular risk assessments, audits and checks. All tasks are carried out with the people in the home at the heart of everything you do, whether that is painting bedrooms, building planters in the garden or putting pictures on walls.
