We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead major site-based construction projects from concept through to completion and handover. This is an excellent opportunity for a client-side project management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering complex projects.
Pay rate: £40.44 per hour
Contract: 12 months, 35 hours a week, 4.5 days a week, 7am to 7pm (hours confirmed within this time period).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end construction project delivery.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, CAPEX business cases, and risk registers.
- Manage budgets, resources, and project documentation.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all activities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Build strong working relationships with project teams and contractors.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven construction project management experience.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems.
- Knowledge of the full construction lifecycle and Health & Safety standards.
- Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative approach.
- Ability to translate client briefs into detailed project requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree/HND in Construction, Building Services, or equivalent experience.
- Professional membership such as CIBSE, IMechE, or IET.
- Proficient in MS Project and G‑Suite.
