FINANCIAL PLANNER – GROWTH ROLE

£SIX FIGURE BASIC | SIGNIFICANT BONUS POTENTIAL | BRISTOL | LEADING WEALTH MANAGER

If you are a Financial Planner who genuinely enjoys winning new business, someone who is energised by building relationships, opening doors, and growing a client base, then this role is one to take note of...

My client is one of the UK's most respected wealth management businesses and is looking for a growth-focused Financial Planner to join their team. You will hit the ground running with a partial portfolio of existing HNW clients to build from, and then grow that book significantly through professional introducer relationships, internal referrals from Investment Managers, client events, seminars, webinars, and your own commercial initiative. The bonus structure reflects the ambition of the role, rewarded strongly on new business and existing revenue, with significant earning potential for the right person.

The role:

  • Building and managing a professional introducer network (solicitors, accountants, corporate advisers) generating a consistent pipeline of new HNW client opportunities
  • Working closely with the Investment Management team to convert internal referrals and collaborate on joint client relationships
  • Organising and hosting networking events, seminars and webinars to raise profile and generate leads across the South West
  • Growing introductions and referrals from your existing client base by delivering exceptional outcomes and asking for advocacy at the right moments
  • Owning your new business plan, pipeline and growth targets, with the support of a well‑resourced distribution strategy behind you
  • Delivering high‑quality, compliant financial planning advice across the full range of client needs

What we're looking for:

  • An experienced Financial Planner with a genuine hunger for business development and a track record of growing client books
  • Well‑connected in the professional introducer community – someone with existing relationships or the credibility and drive to build them quickly
  • Level 4 qualification as a minimum. Chartered or advanced qualifications would be a real advantage
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to deliver high‑quality, compliant advice to HNW private clients
  • Commercially minded, self‑motivated and comfortable managing your own activity and pipeline

What's on offer:

  • Basic salary of up to £100,000 depending on experience (potentially could go higher for the right person)
  • Significant performance bonuses rewarded heavily on new business but also will receive bonus on existing revenue
  • Full corporate benefits including pension, life assurance, income protection and private medical insurance
  • Flexible hybrid working with 1–2 days in the office per week
  • The backing of a high‑quality, well‑resourced wealth management business with real scale behind it
