Overview: Zenovo are supporting a repeat client, who are a growing engineering organisation in their search for a Quality Engineer with a strong mechanical and manufacturing background to join their team in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross‑functional teams including supply chain, goods‑inwards, quality control, engineering, and sustaining. A successful candidate will take on a varied position, with responsibilities ranging from conducting supplier audits and developing supplier quality metrics, to auditing internal procedures and creating new processes to support ongoing business growth. Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve quality issues across internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Manage supplier issues/queries and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Support and improve the Quality Management System, including ISO9001 compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvements.
- Assist with Quality and Inspection Plans and support Quality Control activities.
- Develop, review, and maintain procedures, process documentation, and quality plans.
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, customers, and suppliers.
- Support KPI tracking and reporting.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role.
- Manufacturing/engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven approach.
- Experience with CMMs, inspection methods, and measurement equipment.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 QMS, with familiarity of ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO27001.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Collaborative team player with strong cross‑functional communication skills.
