We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Training & Safety Instructor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, is passionate about employee development, and can confidently respond to workplace emergencies. You will play a key role in training, coaching, and helping maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and hands‑on training for new hires and current employees
  • Serve as a safety leader, ensuring compliance with all company and OSHA standards
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and observations, including PPE, eyewash stations, and behavioral audits
  • Train employees on LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and monitor compliance
  • Act as a first responder to workplace incidents, including injuries and emergencies
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to employees and leadership
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
  • Identify safety concerns and recommend solutions or corrective actions
  • Complete basic injury reports and related documentation as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Prior training experience and OSHA safety background strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and train on first shift before transitioning to assigned hours
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and responsive during emergencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related experience
