The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager ensures products or services meet quality, safety, and compliance standards by managing QC/QA teams, performing inspections, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), handling customer complaints, leading corrective actions, and analysing data to improve systems.
Essential Job Functions:
- Helping develop and expand Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001
- Coordinating and conducting internal, supplier, and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance
- Investigating quality issues and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Managing quality assurance teams, providing training, and ensuring production schedules are met
- Monitoring supplier performance through scorecards and audits to ensure material standards are maintained
- Editing quality procedures and work instructions as needed for compliance and operational efficiency

Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards and software proficiency (Microsoft Office, QMS reporting tools)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or lead a team
