A growing M&E Building Services contractor is looking to recruit a Mechanical Estimator to join their commercial team. This role is open to candidates at different levels – whether you are an Intermediate Estimator looking to step up or a more experienced Mechanical Estimator seeking a new challenge, there is flexibility depending on experience.

You will be involved in pricing mechanical packages across a range of commercial projects, working closely with internal teams to deliver competitive and accurate tenders.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed mechanical estimates (HVAC, plumbing, pipework etc.)
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Completing take-offs and quantifying works
  • Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Pricing labour, materials and programme requirements
  • Supporting tender submissions and commercial strategy

Requirements

  • Experience within mechanical building services estimating
  • Understanding of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
