Project Manager Bradford £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
The Company
Our client designs and manufactures bespoke mechanical engineering solutions for critical environments, supporting sectors including healthcare, data centres, hospitality and commercial infrastructure. They serve a host of commercial and industrial businesses, having secured multi-year partnerships to stabilise their continued growth. Their multiple revenue streams with major players in the market saw them reach £30M turnover and almost 200 UK staff. Due to an increase in secured contracts, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager with immediate effect.
The Role
The role of Project Manager will join a team of 3 established Project Managers, taking the lead on one of the business’s product lines. The Project Manager will be responsible for £6-7M of secured contracts guaranteed over the next 2 years. This role will be critical for the business to hit the next level of their targeted growth.
The role of Project Manager will involve:
- Owning end-to-end mechanical engineering projects
- Operating as the main point of contact for customers
- Creating project timelines covering everything from design to installation and commissioning
- Involvement in site surveys, including risk assessments
- Managing subcontractors for installation and testing
- Taking full ownership of the project’s financial performance
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this Project Manager role you will need:
- Experience managing projects for the power distribution industry
- Either experience in large scale assembly or installation projects, ideally with a combination of both
- Strong organisational skills across projects, people, and financials
- Excellent relationship building skills to communicate with high-profile clients
- Ability to manage and negotiate competing expectations
