Enpure Ltd are a progressive organisation in water and wastewater services and are looking to recruit a self‑motivated and engaging Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong analytical skills and experience in technical design and delivery of water and wastewater engineering projects.
Your New Role
- Contribute on feasibility, outline and detailed design projects.
- Responsible for the design of mechanical installations, typically including municipal water and wastewater treatment works, pumping stations, ventilation systems, penstocks and valves, odour control systems, chemical dosing systems, pipework etc.
- Interface with clients and collaborators in design and planning.
- Integrate with other disciplines within the business and external to agree and confirm a desired design.
- Support bidding and be proactive in the winning of work.
- Deliver to an agreed budget, programme and quality.
- Take ownership of specific 'skill areas' or activities within our technical knowledge networks.
- Support and mentor, providing technical input which may serve as technical advisor to the team.
- Seek innovation and trial new methods, being inquisitive by nature.
- Provide input to the development of engineering specification and procedures to meet requirements.
- Opportunity to present your project work at company meetings or at conferences.
- Work with and develop our digital tools and products.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree-qualified with a mechanical engineering bias.
- Water and wastewater treatment project experience across feasibility, outline, detailed design, construction support extremely desirable.
- Experience using a 3D Design tool and other proprietary software products.
- Chartered member of a recognised engineering institution.
