A well-established, independent Property Consultancy is actively recruiting a Senior Project Manager to be based in Birmingham.

The Company: My client is a respected Consultancy with a strong presence across the UK. They have built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining long-term client relationships. Working across the Midlands, they are involved in a range of notable developments, particularly within the Residential sector (both Private and Public). They offer a supportive and collaborative environment where senior team members play a key role in shaping projects, mentoring staff, and contributing to the ongoing success of the business.

The Position: They are actively looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. The Senior Project Manager will take full ownership of projects and client relationships, and will:

  • Lead and manage projects across all stages of the lifecycle
  • Act as the primary client interface, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Take responsibility for project performance including programme, cost, risk, and quality
  • Lead project teams and coordinate multidisciplinary consultants
  • Chair client and project meetings and present at a senior level

Projects typically range in value from £5 million to £100 million.

The Candidate: The successful Senior Project Manager should:

  • Hold a relevant degree
  • Have significant experience working as a Project Manager within a Consultancy or Main Contracting environment
  • Have a strong track record of delivering Property / Building projects from inception to completion
  • Demonstrate excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Be commercially astute with strong leadership and organisational abilities
  • Ideally be working towards or already chartered (MRICS, MAPM)
