Are you an experienced MEP (Mechanical/Electrical) Project Engineer looking to play a key role in delivering major infrastructure projects? Our client, a leading organisation within the infrastructure sector, is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of critical building services across complex engineering assets, including tunnel portal buildings and pumping stations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee and verify the contractor's design assurance activities for building services across multiple sites
- Ensure the integration and certification of systems including:
- Lighting
- Electrical
- Mechanical
- HVAC
- Power
- Fire safety
- Provide oversight during the design phase, ensuring compliance, quality, and technical standards are met
- Work closely with internal teams to support upfront design verification and assurance processes
- Be primarily based on-site in Birmingham, with occasional travel as required
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in MEP / building services assurance within large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of:
- Contractor design verification
- Systems integration
- Certification processes
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple technical sub-systems
