We are seeking a Senior I&C Design Leader to lead capital project design deliverables for industrial projects. The role requires 15‑20 years of experience managing teams of designers and/or engineers on complex design projects for heavy industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Write technical scopes of work
- Design and review P&ID's (including instrumenting P&ID's, adding control and interlock notes), data sheets, architecture drawings, functional descriptions, instrument index, loop sheets, interconnection diagrams, instrument location plans, I/O lists and cable schedules
Skills/Experience:
- B.S. degree not mandatory. P.E. license is a plus
- Experience directing designers and/or engineers for capital project design deliverables
- Ability to review and approve vendor drawings
- Perform FEL1, FEL2, FEL3 estimates
- Interact with other discipline leads and clients to effect technical solutions to project issues
- Ability to perform field walk‑downs to gather field data, attend meetings, bid walk‑downs, etc.
