We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Industrial Maintenance Millwright to join our team at our remanufacturing facility in Tarrant, Alabama. This role is responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment within a manufacturing environment. The Industrial Maintenance Millwright plays a critical role in ensuring machinery uptime, operational efficiency, and workplace safety through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Do
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and manufacturing equipment.
- Set up controls and adjust settings for machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Observe machine operations and troubleshoot malfunctions or defects.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Utilize tools including wrenches and other millwright equipment.
Technical Execution
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Maintain and troubleshoot systems including: Bearings, belts, conveyors, motors, and drives; Sensors, pneumatics, and hydraulics; Lighting and electrical controls; DC-powered lifts and PLC systems.
- Apply knowledge of electrical principles (AC/DC, 480V, 3-phase systems).
- Perform industrial threading and apply proper lubrication techniques.
Safety & Compliance
- Conduct routine safety checks to ensure all guarding and safety devices are operational.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
Quality & Performance
- Perform quality checks using gauges, precision measuring devices, and visual inspection.
- Document results where applicable.
- Support production by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability.

- Experience in industrial maintenance, millwright work, or similar manufacturing roles.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment issues effectively.

- Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting of at least 25 pounds.
