Tributary Building is seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and appearance of a premier commercial property. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, coordinating repairs, and helping ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for tenants and visitors.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, responsive, detail‑oriented, and capable of independently managing routine maintenance tasks while coordinating with vendors and property management as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and common areas
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, door hardware, and mechanical issues
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and facility issues
- Monitor building operations and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger problems
- Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and service vendors when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, maintenance areas, and exterior grounds
- Assist with event setup, furniture movement, and building logistics as needed
- Replace filters, bulbs, ceiling tiles, fixtures, and other building components
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and property operating standards
- Participate in emergency response and after‑hours maintenance calls when required
- Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and work order documentation
