About the Role

We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our Critical Power team in Birmingham.

What You'll Do

  • Take full accountability for the commissioning of power packages.
  • Use control systems to configure, troubleshoot, and optimise engine performance.
  • Support our data center projects ensuring zero‑downtime handovers.
  • Hybrid model for reporting and planning, then head to site for the high‑impact live phases.
  • Act as the Site Lead for health and safety, producing method statements and ensuring compliance with UK and European standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with power equipment is essential.
  • Strong background in power electronics, synchronising switchgear, and generator control systems.
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
