Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with High voltage, utilities or similar experience looking to join a growing business where you can take ownership of commercial performance and play a key role in delivering major utility and infrastructure projects? This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding company, managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account. You will work closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to maximise project profitability while ensuring strong commercial governance and contractual compliance. The Role

  • Manage commercial performance across multiple projects.
  • Prepare and submit valuations, applications, and final accounts.
  • Administer contracts and manage contractual risk.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and accounts.
  • Support tendering and pricing activities.
  • Produce commercial reports and forecasts for senior management.

Essential Experience

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, or Commercial Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
  • Experience working within Utilities, Construction, Infrastructure, Engineering, or related sectors.

Competencies

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and analytical ability.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
