Commercial management of our most profitable client across circa 17 regional offices and commercial point of contact identifying growth opportunities and driving revenue through strategic relationship management. This role is critical in building and maintaining long-term relationships with our most valuable client, ensuring seamless project delivery, and driving commercial success. The ideal candidate will combine strong interpersonal skills with technical and commercial acumen in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the main point of contact in conjunction with the Bid Manager.
- Understand client needs and work with internal stakeholders (design, operations, finance) to design and deliver customised solutions aligned with their sustainability and commercial goals.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth within key accounts.
- Forecast and manage account budgets, ensuring profitability and commercial viability.
- Address and resolve client issues and complaints promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Track, analyse, and report on key account metrics, providing regular updates to both client and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and competitor activity to proactively identify new opportunities and risks.
- Review, negotiate, and support commercial contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) with clients and suppliers.
- Ensure internal systems are accurately maintained and used to track interactions, project activity, and client insights.
- Any other ad-hoc duties.
Qualifications/Courses/Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior Commercial Management role, preferably in the construction or renewable energy or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships and delivering complex projects.
- Highly versed in commercial contract negotiation and budgeting processes.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
