Working for a leading industrial client of ours in the Wirral area, they are known for providing a wide range of services from design and installation to maintenance, service, and direct supply of spare parts.
About the Role
As a CAD Technician, you will be supporting their specific department in all aspects of CAD drawing and CAD related duties.
You will ensure the creation and management of all drawings within the organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Creating both 2D and 3D plans & models using AUTOCAD and Revit.
- Creating and modifying drawings for submission to client, sub-contractor or internal engineers. You will then show them specific requirements as detailed by the drawing requests.
- Maintain an up-to-date accurate drawing register and associated transmittal documents.
- Ensure all drawings meet with any relevant company standards.
- Have a good working knowledge of simple, mechanical pipework systems and their make up.
Essential Attributes / Experience within CAD
- 2-4 years experience in a CAD Technician or Design focused role.
- Ability to use a wide range of different systems including: AUTOCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office packages.
