Role Overview
This is a varied installation role working across domestic properties throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and supporting a range of renewable energy and air-conditioning systems, whilst carrying out associated electrical work to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Install air-conditioning systems within domestic properties
- Work on air-to-air and air-to-water heat-pump installations
- Install solar PV and battery storage systems
- Carry out associated electrical installation work
- Test, commission, and fault-find installations
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Essential Qualifications
- Qualified Electrician with knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full F-Gas Qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience installing and commissioning air-conditioning systems
- Strong understanding of electrical installation, testing, and fault finding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship
Desirable Experience
- Experience installing air-source heat pumps
- Experience with solar PV and battery storage systems
- Experience in the renewable energy industry
- Inspection and testing qualifications (e.g., NICEIC)
- Experience working within domestic properties
